Gabrielle Clary is a Corporate Responsibility Consultant at the World Bank and a fashion sustainability entrepreneur with a Master of Science degree in Sustainability Management from American University. Clary's commitment to sustainability began during a research trip to Denmark where she studied the development of the 100% renewable energy Island Samsø. Ever since, Clary has focused on the fashion industry’s growing awareness for sustainability. She is one of the co-founders of the DC Sustainable Fashion Collective, a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to foster and educate a community of creative entrepreneurs, lawmakers, designers, activists, academics, fashion professionals, and consumers in the DC Metropolitan Area on the importance of sustainability and ethical practices in the fashion industry.
