Allie Gardner is a Senior Manager at United Way Worldwide's Center to Combat Human Trafficking. In this role, Allie is responsible for designing and delivering diverse and robust programs, tools, and resources to educate and engage individuals, organizations, and communities to combat human trafficking and slavery. Prior to joining United Way Worldwide, Allie worked at GoodWeave International, an NGO working to stop child, forced, and bonded labor in global supply chains. Before that, Allie directed both the Fashion for Freedom Campaign and the Freedom from Slavery Forum at the international anti-slavery NGO, Free the Slaves. Allie is the Mid-Atlantic Regional Coordinator for Fashion Revolution USA and currently serves on the Board of Directors for The DC Sustainable Fashion Collective. She holds a Master of Arts in Public Anthropology from American University, as well as a dual Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Spanish Studies from American University.
